Jan and I have come down to Cambridge for a few days prompted by an invitation to a garden party at Churchill College, my old college while I did my PhD at the University Chemistry Department.
I have hardly returned to Churchill since I left in 1981 so it was interesting to see how the college had changed. So many new buildings and more going up! The place looked great, warm welcome, and the Moller management leadership centre had some amazing architecture and seems to be highly regarded for it’s courses too. Lots of people at the garden party too and the time passed very quickly. Grateful thanks to all involved in organising it!
Here are a few photos taken on my Motorola Moto-X phone. Some I have also taken on my Mamiya 7 camera with Ilford Delta 120 film. I’ll add those to my website when I have a chance to process, scan and edit them.
This morning we wandered around Christ’s College and Sidney Sussex College with our proper cameras, my Mamiya 7 and Jan’s Fuji XE3.
This evening we wandered around the town and I took a few phone shots on our way to the hotel around 9pm to 9.30pm.
