It was the warmest day of the trek today with temperatures around 20°C. Lots of sunshine too.
Huge breakfast at the Little John in Hathersage. Somehow we managed to move after it and headed uphill towards Stanage Edge then Bamford.
The old Mill at Bamford was our first photo stop of the day. Then it was steeply uphill to Win Hill. Great views at the summit as it was clear as a bell for another photo stop.
Time was marching on so we made our way down to the Cheshire Cheese pub in Hope for a medicinal pint of Swift Nick. From here it was just a couple of miles to Castleton, our stop for tonight.
Mostly I just took photos on my Motorola Moto-X phone for this blog but I also took a few on my Mamiya 7 medium format film camera. I’ve taken 4 rolls of Ilford 400 Delta 120 film in 5 days, with 10 shots to a roll.
