Kaprun Skiing and Photos

Another sunny day in Austria! The forecast for the rest of the week isn’t great so we decided to visit the neighbouring Kaprun ski area in the sunshine. It was about 30 minutes on the bus.

The main peak is the Kitzsteinhorn and the highest lift goes high enough to see the view on the other side, but not to the summit.

The top lift was the only one with a queue, good snow and not busy. Clouds cleared by midday to leave blue skies for the afternoon.

Good views through the mountains and to the close-by lake at Zell am See.

I ran off 12 shots on my Mamiya 7 camera. That’s 3 rolls in total for the trip. Snow forecast tomorrow so will wait to see what we can do.
